6. PERMITS, APPROVALS, AND CODE REQUIREMENTS

Where applicable, projects may require permits, inspections, engineering, architectural services, association approvals, governmental approvals, or compliance with applicable building codes and regulations.

The responsibility for obtaining particular approvals will be determined by the applicable project contract.

SOFLI does not guarantee approval by any governmental authority, homeowners’ association, condominium association, insurer, lender, or other third party.

7. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and complete information necessary to evaluate and perform a project.

Customers may also be responsible for:

 

• Providing reasonable access to the property;
• Identifying known property conditions;
• Obtaining approvals that the contract assigns to the customer;
• Removing or protecting personal belongings as required;
• Providing access to utilities when reasonably necessary;
• Keeping pets and occupants away from active work areas;
• Reviewing and approving selections and project documents;
• Making payments according to the applicable contract; and
• Promptly notifying SOFLI of concerns regarding the project.

The customer represents that they have authority to authorize work at the property or have obtained authorization from the property owner.

8. CHANGES AND CHANGE ORDERS

Changes to the scope of work, materials, products, colors, finishes, dimensions, installation methods, or other project specifications may require a written change order.

Additional costs or schedule changes resulting from customer-requested changes, concealed conditions, unavailable products, code requirements, or other circumstances will be handled in accordance with the applicable project contract.

Oral statements by employees, contractors, representatives, or sales personnel do not modify a written contract unless such modification is permitted by and documented in accordance with the applicable agreement and law.

9. PAYMENT

Payment terms, deposits, progress payments, balances, financing arrangements, cancellation rights, refunds, and other payment conditions will be governed by the applicable written contract, proposal, invoice, financing agreement, and applicable law.

Nothing in these Website Terms authorizes SOFLI to charge a customer without the customer’s authorization or otherwise limits rights provided by applicable law.

10. CANCELLATION AND REFUND RIGHTS
